RE: Paiute Trail/Marysvale trail numbers

The Deer Creek trail that starts across from Hoovers (great burgers by the way) just south of Rock Candy. You can ride from your camp. Great Scenic day ride. This was in June so the water shouldnt be so high today.

RE: Destinations for Thanksgiving??

If I can get any hard core riders out there during the week, I would like to try and make it to Dumont from spangler hills. I have found a trail, now I just need to try it out.
Hmmm, sounds interesting. PM sent, I'd like to see that track.

RE: Would you buy a WW now?

Absolutely! For those of us that know how all toyhaulers are made and can fix it themselves if needed, its a no-brainer.

RE: Lubing your WW shackles

Go to this thread in the travel trailer section for pictures of the dexter pieces and installation
TT Thread
Great time to do axle flip if needed and add shocks or a cushioning device like Dexter EZ Flex.
Map Guy
Thats a great thread. I can relate to the old bones comments. With that and my poor eyes, its getting tougher to work on your own stuff.
Thanks Map Guy.

RE: Lubing your WW shackles

Or you can have WW do it for you. Be warned though, their method involves replacing both axles and four wheels & tires. :B
Hmmmm, pretty certain that's not an option.:B

RE: Lubing your WW shackles

from the pic, is this where you put the grease gun nozzle? how will it accept grease if there's no place for the grease to go? :?
http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f163/gsxr310/Zerk-1.jpg
and this is where the grease is supposed to go, right?
http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f163/gsxr310/Bolt-1.jpg
maybe i have the wrong type of grease gun??
http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f163/gsxr310/Grip_Type_Grease_Gun.jpg
Yes, yes, & No
The solution is to gently tap the ball and free it up. Otherwise replace the zerk.

Lubing your shackles

This has been brought up before but I cant find the old thread.
The zerk fittings in the Weekend Warrior shackles need to be relubed and most of them wont accept grease. In addition, the zerks are pressed in and come out easy when you pull the grease gun off. Has anyone successfully done this and/or has anyone put some thread in there and put some real zerks in.

RE: Another Battery Question

Three six volt batteries in series give 18 volts. You need 2,4 or 6 if you use 6 volters. You could use 3 12 volt batteries.
RV BatteriesThis is a great link! A stupid question though... why would anybody want to use 6volt batteries when it takes 2 to equal what 1 12volt will do? My TH has a pull out triple battery tray which I fully intend on using to max capacity. I just don't understand the benefit of using 6volt batteries which I see on this site often.
Its all about amp hours. Two trojan 6 volts will give you roughly twice the capacity of a single 12 volt and will last twice as long due to the fact they are made for deep discharging.

RE: Another Battery Question

I have 4 trojans T105's. In October they will be 4 years old. I use the snot out of them. The key to long life is keep them charged and properly watered. Dont overheat em and dont fully discharge them also.

RE: STEALTH TOYHAULER BY FOREST RIVER

Rumor was that it is where Gary Denton of WW ended up and these trailers sure have the look of the Rage'n.
This is no rumor. Let's hope he didnt bring over any bad habits.

New tires for the WW CR3705

Time for new tires. I was wondering whats everyone putting on these days? Is the LT truck tire the way to go?
And it calls for a 235 80R-16 but would like to get a wider and taller tire but would like to keep the same rim if possible. What are my options?
